The RAU IM2000 Animal Immobilizer delivers a low level electrical current that stimulates the animal's natural nervous system's response to muscle constriction. This allows the animal to become immobile for the duration that the pulse is applied.

Extensive field test have shown no negative effects (safe even on pregnant animals) of using the Immobilizer, even for extended periods. The immobilization is immediate, and once the pulse is removed, the animal instantly returns to normal.
