Some photographs of the RAU Immobilizer in action:
With the RAU Immobilizer it is possible to safely and effectively work on all parts of the animal. The animal is guided into a chute, and the probe is inserted. As the pulse is applied the animal is immobilized. No kicking or flaying about. No chance of injury to the animal or you.
Hoof trimming is easy!
The rubber ring on the probe, acts as a depth gauge and helps keep it in place. A depth of 3 to 4 inches is recommended to start. This will immobilize the hind quarters of the animal. The tail will hold the probe in place.
Inserting the probe.
Animals tend to 'lean' forward as the pulse is applied. If you are using a head gate/clamp, make sure that the animal is not applying pressure to the jugular, thus restricting blood flow to the head. Performing a procedure on the head of the animal.
No smudging or kicking. Quick and effective.
Performing a branding operation - hot or freeze.
