The RAU Animal Immobilizer  (US Patent Nos. 6901884 & 7,111,587 ) - was developed after much scientific research, for Veterinarians and Stockmen, for the safe and effective immobilization of bovine and equine animals. 

The instrument is constructed from high quality components and materials. It is used for electronic immobilization of animals using a very low electrical current. The immobilization is not stressful to the animals, and to date, field trials have shown no negative effects, even on pregnant animals - at any stage of pregnancy. 

The primary use of the Immobilizer is for electronic restraint of cattle, especially during branding, de-horning, castration, hoof trimming or other minor treatment procedures. The Immobilizer has also been used successfully on horses, sheep, goats, camels, hogs and deer.
